Animal abuse IS a ...
Animal abuse IS a holocaust. We all have callings to fix right & wrong. If your calling? is children, then do all you can. If my calling is aniamals, then respect it. The problem lies in the ones who do NOTHING. Remember, responsible pet ownership is an important value we can teach our children or they will think nothing of animal abuse-many times a stepping stone to human abuse. I suffer horribly at the thought of anything subject to a pain- wielding, immoral thug. Animal or person.

@lschlick Children were just one example of things more important in my view than animal cruelty. That issue ranks small with me. It seemed to me the camera work and music was very similar to what I've seen in movies depicting The Holocaust. It bothers me that one would make a comparison between Jewish humans (or any? humans) and animals. I feel having a pet takes away from any number of greater issues and attention from fellow human beings. I do what I can.

Stew, what does child abuse have to do with? animal cruelty, pray tell? There are MANY important causes in the world & God bless those who get up off their butts & ACT. There are tons of child support groups & here is a expose of animal cruelty & your flip comment is help the kids. If no one fought against the Holocaust, slavery or the destruction of our rain forest causing global warming because KIDS came 1st what kind of world would this be? What do you do to make this world a better place?

@scorpionwoman34 oops my mistake. We gave our fosters to them? to adopt out. I mean for treats and toys, I would like to find a local store. LOL!! We have 2 of our own rescues who were going to be put down the day we got them

@showmetheinuyasha okay & thats not good either! All that animal shelter is doing is giving petco/petsmart money for those dogs which goes back to the? puppy mill. While you think the rescue shelter is doing a good thing, it's really only supporting them. Think about it...

@scorpionwoman34 Not all petsmart and petco stores buy from puppy mills. our local shelter adopts dogs out from our petco and petsmart in NJ. I do not know if all? of them do that but the ones here do :)

How can this torture, abuse, and such severe neglect be legal? We have to stop this. I can't imagine how heartbreaking their poor lives are as they sit in a cage no even knowing anything different. Why do people who know the truth still by pet store? puppies? How can you know this then give them money to continue it? Sick, Sick World...

@KittyKyomi lol true. but not all puppy selling places are bad, our first dog was bred but not from a puppy mill, more of a private breeder. it 's better to? buy from private owners and before you buy totally go check out the puppy and scope out the area for cruelty. private breedeers are SECOND BEST TO SHELTERED DOGS! save the shelters FIRST!!!
